Mmmmmmm chips!

Ever since I have been concentrating properly on SW I have been craving chips - you know, proper British chip shop chips. So far I have resisted but to a greater extent that is due to the fact there is no local chip shop and to buy them would involve either a long drive or a long walk! Neither grabs me, especially in this current weather! So, I look forward to a trip to the seaside where I can eat them from the paper! That is probably some way off right now! I have to say that SW chips are pretty ok though and so I try to make them at the weekend.

Saturday is generally 'boiled egg for breakfast' day and today was no exception. No photo though! Had eggs with crispbreads - my HEb for the day. Topped that off with fruit - pear and grapes.

Set off for the town centre to search for wool and a pattern. Thought that if I start knitting again that might occupy my evenings a little and take my mind off eating! Found a great pattern for a chunky jacket. Not for me I think, so someone will be lucky (or not depending on how it turns out!) will take a photo when I have started.

Got back quite late so had a favourite standby - jacket potato, this time with tuna and pickles. Followed that with a huge juicy orange and a caramel coffee. (Milk from HEa)

Windy and rainy again. Depressing. Spent this afternoon planning my meals for the week. On paper it doesn't look too exciting but it does say 'healthy' . I am sure on the plate it will all look great.

Anyway, chips it was for dinner! Yum! Teamed them up with salad and a gammon steak. All quite delicious. I am now looking forward to some strawberries and blueberries with 0% Total yoghurt. I even have enough milk left for a milky hot chocolate tonight (3 syns). May just gave a Hi Fi bar too (6 yns)!

Probably no more chips until next weekend, but I can dream!
