Lunch with friends

Such a dismal day today as far as the weather goes. We were out for lunch which worried me a little. Not because I didn't want to go - far from it. More that I couldn't be in complete control. As it turned out, I did ok. I am never tempted by alcohol so no syns wasted on that! I don't like to be awkward when someone else is cooking, but this friend knows me so well so lunch was not a big hurdle.

I decided to eat a good breakfast to make sure I wasn't starving.

I really didn't think I could take a photo of lunch so you will have to take my word for it that I didn't overdo it - roast lamb and vegetables. I offered to take a pudding, so made SW Eton mess ( 2 syns per portion for the meringue).

Although I really didn't feel like it when I got home, I did manage to make lunch and dinner for tomorrow, so I am well prepared! Dinner tonight was egg mayonnaise (1 syn) and crispbreads spread with some Low Low (part if my HEa). Followed that with fruit and one of those Nak'd bars I mentioned yesterday (6.5 syns). Have to say I was not impressed so they will probably find their way to the back of the fridge. Would much rather have a Curly Wurly!!!

Just my milky drink now before bed (2 syns). And yes, I did remember my promise yesterday.....  Drink mire water! Still not enough but better than the day before!

  3. You sure can Alison!

1 large pot Total 0% Greek yoghurt
strawberries (chopped/quartered - as many as you like!)
    3 meringue nests
    sweetener (optional)

Stir the yoghurt until smooth. Add chopped strawberries and stir.
Add thecrumbled meringue nests when you are going to serve it as they will dissolve in the yoghurt after a while!
Add granular sweetener if you like it sweeter.

If I am doing it for a special occasion then I stir in Muller lite strawberry yoghurt. Just lightly stir it in so that it is like swirls.

If you are on the SW exra easy programme then the whole thing is only 7.5 syns!
