The last time I posted I had just weighed in. I knew I was going to be away for a few days so I did what many of us do - thought as I wasn't weighing in next week I didn't need to bother too much. So ..... I didn't! Well, I didn't go too mad but when travelling first class on Virgin trains you have what you are offered- don't you? It wasn't all bad but not particularly SW. Whilst away I celebrated my son's 30th birthday with a wonderful brunch in a lovely little cafe:
I didn't manage all the toast but it was delicious!
Wish I could say that the rest of the time was as careful but it wasn't. We had a Thai meal but I abstained from wine and stuck to water all evening. Thereafter I ate whatever I thought I would but started off each day with a carefully selected hotel breakfast. I tried to avoid lunch and then made the best of a choice from restaurant menus. Each day we walked and walked and walked. It was also sooooo cold so I hoped that I was using calories to keep warm!
As soon as I got back I had 1 day before weigh in! This I what it looked like:

I was dreading weigh in and was totally amazed that I maintained! All that walking was definitely worth it!
